Our Story
Hailing from the breathtaking and historic landscapes of the Golan Heights, The White Donkey is an Israeli rock quartet (Shlomi, Yeger, Itay, and Noam) creating music with a mission. In Jewish tradition, the White Donkey is the humble creature that will carry the Messiah, a profound symbol of redemption, peace, and a better future. During these challenging times in Israel, we have seen firsthand the healing power of music. From intimate shows at local farms in the North to deeply emotional performances for the survivors of the Nova festival, our music is meant to unite, uplift, and bring light into the darkness. Our upcoming release, Album HaSphirot (The Ten Divine Emanations Album), explores deep spiritual themes, blending raw rock energy with the ancient soul of the land of Israel.

The Birth of The White Donkey:

The story of The White Donkey began on a rainy night in 2025 at a local pub in the southern Golan Heights.

The four of us - musicians who barely knew each other - decided to step onto an open-mic stage.

We started improvising original songs in front of the crowd, and instantly, something clicked.

It was an undeniable, special connection that felt meant to be.

We committed to the journey that very night.

Finding a true brotherhood with the same spirit and deep roots in the land of Israel felt like a miracle.

Since then, we’ve taken our music everywhere - from local bomb shelters to IDF frontlines - using our songs to bring light, strength, and hope to the people of Israel and to the rest of the world.
